CAMPS

Our private and exclusive hunting camps lie nestled deep in the heart of the vast miombo forests of western Tanzania. Secluded, truly wild settings that offer comfort and coolness in traditional and attractive style, with spacious, well-appointed insect proof tents, each including an outdoor desk area as well. Conveniently situated nearby is a large dining area, decorated with authentic Africana and complimented by additional lounge-style seating with a natural history/hunting library to enjoy.

A skilled camp crew of chefs, waiters and tent attendants eagerly and professionally care for your every need, bringing hot water for your showers and early morning tea to your tent, washing and ironing your clothes daily, and welcoming you back to camp each evening with a warm smile and ice cold drinks.

Although our main camp locations are dictated by permanent water sources, due to the expansive nature of our hunting concession, hunters are also offered the opportunity to experience a fly camp. A simpler, more mobile option that allows for concentrating on pursuing a certain species or to explore sections of the hunting block that are largely untouched. Such excursions offer hunters the taste of an authentic, old-style, on the move sort of African hunting adventure.

Each tent’s comfortable beds are well-appointed with crisp linens and warm blankets, while solar powered electricity, accessory furniture, and wardrobe shelving welcome you to fully unpack and establish your own personalized residence for the duration of your safari. En suite bathrooms replete with hot and cold showers and sinks ensure that you are refreshed after a proper day afield, and are rejuvenated for an inspiring start each morning.

Excellent, multi-course meals in camp are preceded by gourmet starters, and are meticulously prepared by our trained chefs who cater, whenever possible, to special dietary requirements. Our well-stocked bar provides a good selection of locally available wines and spirits. And traditionally inspired rituals such as sundowners and after dinner drinks around the glow of the campfire, under countless stars, offers you the perfect opportunity to recap the day’s adventures and to make plans for tomorrow’s.

FLY CAMPS

Our fly camp equipment is designed for comfort, mobility and practicality. You will typically enjoy your meals alfresco, and retire to a simple, yet welcoming bed. Private shower and loo facilities are provided, and the camp is lit by portable solar lights.
